I really don’t want this to sound wrong and offend anyone, but it’s the honest truth so here we go.

It was way too superficial and materialistic for me. I interned with a big American designer and I felt like everyone I met was so wrapped up in this little world that really wasn’t affecting anyone positively. I wanted to do more with my career. Plus I’m just really bad at being someones bitch which I was definitely going to have to do for the foreseeable future.

I know there are a lot of people out there who have amazing jobs and love what they do and that’s great! But I just guess I wasn’t willing to put up with the bullshit.
